Insight
Every five hours, an Australian is diagnosed with brain cancer. Almost 80% won’t survive five years after diagnosis.
Idea
This deadly diagnosis is given to patients in private.
To raise awareness of the terminal reality of brain cancer, we turned this painfully private moment of diagnosis, pubic, for all of Australia to see.
Execution
When Lachie was diagnosed with brain cancer, his mum burst into tears. She recalls that he turned to her and said "Jeez mum. We could swim out of here in your tears"
Working with The Brain Cancer Centre, FINCH company and Amy, we created 'Room of Tears', a short film that encapsulates Amy's experience of her son's terminal diagnosis.
